First post!

Hey guys! I've just been getting ready to leave for Oviedo, Spain on Saturday, and I'm so excited! I hope that I come back from Spain in 5 weeks and I am able to speak Spanish enough to have a conversation. It will be strange being in a foreign country without really knowing anyone, but I expect to make some great lifelong friends! My host mother e-mailed me for the first time a few days ago and she seems extremely welcoming. I'm going to try my hardest to communicate with her when I first get there, and I hope I can really pick it up by the end of the trip! I'm so excited to see the country! I've never been to Europe before, but it looks beautiful. Should be fun!!!!
